Rewati was born and brought up in Mumbai before moving to London to study Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. Rewati's work explores nationhood and place, taking aim at the proscriptive nature of human geography in the 21st century. Much of her early work focusses on the shared histories of her current and former home cities.

She has exhibited in both the UK and India, including a solo show in Delhi in December 2023, and a group show in spring 2024 at The Nehru Centre in London. Rewati has also exhibited before with Subject Matter in a group show in London.
