Emily is an artist, a draughtsperson and illustrator, currently based in Glasgow. She graduated in painting and printmaking from the prestigious Glasgow School of Art in 2021, having previously worked in film and creative animation.

Spanning painting, illustration, and the moving image, Emily’s practice began as an exploration of her own anecdotal experiences, later expanding reflection into the function of memory, and drawing inspiration from the chaotic clutter of nostalgia. Through the expressive use of colour, meticulous detailing and the adoption of Trompe L'oeil techniques, she invites viewers to draw narrative connection between their own experiences and the collaged imagery displayed.

She has recently exhibited works in shows and festivals within Edinburgh & Glasgow.
